Bespoke Commissioned Paintings
Like my style but can’t find the size you want? You’ve seen the perfect painting but it’s already sold? Want to have a painting that is personalised to you and your home or office?
Whatever the reason, a commission could be the right option for you.
I offer a limited amount of commission spaces throughout the year. It is a bespoke service and the feeling of satisfaction at the end when my customer says they love the piece is unbeatable.
So for you, what to expect…
During the initial chat, I would like to know the basics of what you are after, especially the size, the style of my paintings that you like and your preferred colours and textures.
From there I will give you a guide price.
Next, we‘ll arrange a meeting. In person, if possible, either at my studio or in the place where the painting is to be hung (No charge if this is in Bristol; further afield, I shall ask you to pay agreed travel expenses).
Photos of the room, samples of paint colours, material samples such as curtains/cushions etc. anything like that can help me to get a feel for the room and for your taste. I will use these clues to paint our special work of art, through the filter of my skill, with license to create in my style and to fit your ideas and suggestions.
Our painting will be a unique work of art; I will never copy another artist’s work.
Once we are both happy that we agree with the plan, I will send you the final quotation. I ask for 50% to be paid upfront, this is to cover materials and some of the time. This is non-refundable deposit. This will include any shipping fees, if applicable.
I will give you an estimate of the time the painting will take me to make. This can vary massively between paintings.
Once the painting is complete, I will invite you to my studio to view it. I want you to love your new artwork and if this is not the case then this is an opportunity for us to discuss any possible adaptations.
